Setting up the Tent Calculator

Installing the Tent Calculator

You can add the calculator to your WordPress page as a widget through Elementor. It is found in the WordPress category titled the software Tent Calculator.

After adding the widget to the page, it can be clicked on to reveal the rest of the settings available.

The software Tent Calculator Settings Guide

  1. Sidewalls Availability:
In the settings, there's an option labeled "Are Sidewalls for the tents available to rent?". By checking this box, you indicate that sidewalls are available for rent. This will influence the calculator's output, offering you the option to include sidewalls based on weather considerations.
  2. Inventory Items with Dimensions or Footprint:
This setting allows you to select items from your inventory that have defined dimensions or footprints. The dimensions should be in a format like * x * x * (for three-dimensional items) or * x * (for two-dimensional items).
    How it works:
The calculator scans through all the inventory and checks the content for the presence of dimensions or footprint attributes.
It then validates the format of these attributes to ensure they match the expected patterns.
Only items with valid dimensions or footprints will appear in the dropdown list in the settings.
By selecting an item, you're indicating that this item's dimensions or footprint should be considered when calculating the tent size.

  3. Select Tent Sizes:
This setting allows you to define the tent sizes that the calculator will use as potential results. The sizes are represented in a format like 10x10, 10x15, etc., which denotes the length and width of the tent.
    How it works:
You can select multiple tent sizes from the dropdown list.
The selected tent sizes will be the ones the calculator considers when determining the best fit for the requirements.
For instance, if you only select 10x10 and 10x15, the calculator will only recommend these sizes based on your input.
