First off, make sure you're logged in and looking at the IO software user interface, then follow the navigation listed below to get to your website's sync settings:
Settings (gear icon) → WordPress → Choose the affected website →“Sync Log” (left)
This should scroll your screen to a log of the sync process for this particular site.
- Look at the top few entries listed here, you don't need to know what they mean you just need to remember what's there because it's not a live view of what's happening.
- Now, refresh the page and check the top few entries of the sync log again.
- If new entries have appeared at the top, a sync is still running - wait for it to complete.
- When no new entries appear for a bit, the current sync is done—now clear browser cache, then server cache.
**IMPORTANT NOTE: Edits are queued for sync, so they are not instant. It may take several minutes to a few hours for queued changes to publish to the site. This is completely dependent on the amount of inventory your account has and how much media (images/videos) are associated with that inventory. It scales normally though, so if you have a small inventory and only a picture or two on each rental the sync process should run quickly versus if your inventory size is in the thousands and there are 3 - 6 pictures per rental it's going to take hours not minutes.
