Dark Mode — Toggle the UI to Dark Mode

Introduction
Dark Mode switches the interface to a dark color scheme to reduce eye strain and improve readability in low-light conditions. It is available as a user-level theme and (where supported) can be set as an account default.

- Note: status colors are user-customizable; some custom status colors may need adjustment for best contrast in Dark Mode.

Step-by-step instructions

Enable Dark Mode (per-user)
1. Open your user menu (usually in the top right).
2. Look for a “Dark Mode” toggle.

3. Switch to Dark Mode. The UI should update immediately.

4. If parts of the UI look low-contrast (for example, status labels), adjust your personal status colors or switch back to Light.
