Set Up

Setting up linens can be complex. However, the software is equipped to manage this setup. Below is a detailed guide outlining the correct process for setting up your linens, including options for selecting different sizes and colors.

  1. Go into Settings -> Inventory -> Create a new item (see here on how to create an inventory item), such as Square Table Linen and add this to the category of your choosing; most oftentimes, it will be under a specific category, such as "Linens". The quantity of the item does not matter, as you are not setting the quantity to the inventory, as you are setting it with the colors and sizes. You can mark the quantity as "unlimited" in this case. Save.
  2. To create the size of your linens, you will add in another inventory item, such as the size of the linens (for example, 54" Red linens), and set the quantity to "unlimited" and your category will have to be set to "Hidden" allowing your customers to select the size available. Save.
  3. Go into your Settings -> Inventory, select on the inventory item you created (in step 1) -> Accessories, link up the size linens (from step 2). In the accessories, select "Show Advanced Accessory Options" and choose "List accessories as a drop down" to allow your customers to be able to select on the linens themselves. Save.
  4. To create the colors of your linens available, you will then need to add the colors as an accessory (see here on how to create an accessory). You must indicate a quantity of the color linens you have available. This is also where you would want to include a price for your linens. Save.
  5. To link the colors of the linens to your inventory, you will go into Settings -> Inventory, select which linen size, -> Accessories, link up the colors that apply to the size linen available. While in the accessories, select "Show Advanced Accessory Options" and choose "List accessories as a drop down" to allow your customers to be able to select on the linens themselves. Save.
