What is an Accessory?
An accessory is a item that does not display on your website as an individual rental item, but acts as an "add-on" to existing rental items. These do not count as rental items therefore does not affect your inventory limit. An example of an accessory would be a banner for a bounce house or an option to add water to a slide.
How to add an Accessory
To add an accessory go to Settings -> Inventory -> Click the drop down button next to "Add Inventory" and select "Add Accessory".
Once you have done this a page will pop up that allows you to name the accessory, add an image and the price. Now you have successfully created an accessory and don't forget to save!
Advanced accessory options
To add an accessory to a rental item, open the item and go to the accessory section. Here you will see a box where you can type in the name of the accessory then click "add". To see more accessory options click "Show Advanced Accessory Options" to expand this section.
Here you can add an image, description, specify if this accessory is required, link the quantity of the accessory to the rental item and override the price so the price of the accessory is not added on to the price of the rental item. Here is an article that goes over advanced accessory options.
Convert to Accessory
You can also convert existing rental items to accessories. To do so, check the box beside the item you would like to convert.
Click the drop down next to "Delete" and select "Convert To Accessory".
