To launch your website on your website's domain to our website hosting, complete the following steps. If you don't already have a domain (web address) make sure you purchase one, you can refer to our help article here.
- Go to Settings -> WordPress, and select the site you wish to launch.
- Once you've identified which WordPress site you wish to launch, select it and choose the option for "Ready to launch? Click here to start" link.
- You will need to update your DNS (domain) settings. This is a crucial step for connecting your domain with the website.
- You will be redirected to a Google Form. within this form, select the domain provider you are using from the list provided.
- Follow the set of instructions provided within the Google Form. It is extremely important to complete each step as described to ensure the website launches in a timely manner.
- Once you have followed the above steps, your website will begin the launching process.
- If you followed the instructions correctly the site could be launched within around 30 minutes to a few hours. If the site launch fails your existing website will not be taken down.
