Managing Your Worker Profile
The Workers App provides each team member with easy access to manage and update their own profile details, allowing the worker to control their information.
The worker profile serves as the workers personal and professional identity within the Workers App. It stores the key details that managers, clients, and other team members rely on for communication, coordination, and recognition. Whether they got married/divorced, moved to a new address, changed their email address, changed their phone number, or changed/added a form in which tips can be accepted (Venmo, CashApp, PayPal).
How Workers Edit Their Profile from the Workers App
Editing profiles is simple:
- Log into the Workers App
- Navigate to the Profile section (accessible via the menu and "Profile")
- Update the relevant fields: name, phone number, address, profile picture, and tip username
- Save your changes (top right corner)
Most updates go live immediately.
Name
If your workers legal name changes or they prefer to go by a different professional name, they can easily update it within the Workers App to reflect how they wish to be addressed.
Phone Number
Your workers phone number is used for real-time alerts, shift updates, and direct communication. If they change their number, it’s important to update it within the Workers App to avoid missing important information.
Address
Whether your worker has moved to a new residence or needs to update their mailing address for tax purposes or equipment delivery, they can do that directly through their profile settings within the Workers App.
Profile Picture
The Workers App allows your workers to upload or change their profile photo at any time, helping ensure they present their best selves. If you have it set up, your workers profile picture may also display on email templates.
Username for Receiving Tips
One of the most important features for many workers is the ability to receive tips. The Workers App includes a field where they can enter or update their tip username (such as a Venmo, CashApp, PayPal), ensuring that gratuities go directly to the correct account.
