Managing Pickups on the Delivery Planner
To ensure your Delivery Planner accurately reflects your warehouse traffic, the system uses a specific toggle to categorize "Pickup" events. This prevents "Will Call" or other non-delivery leads from appearing on your schedule unless intended.
How to Enable Pickup Visibility
If you want leads with a specific Delivery Method to appear in the Pickup row of the Delivery Planner, follow these steps:
- Navigate to Settings > Delivery Methods.
- Select the Delivery Method you wish to modify (e.g., "Customer Pickup").
- Locate the toggle for Pick-up at Warehouse.
- Set this to Yes and save your changes.
Key Details
- Planner Logic: A lead will only appear in the Pickup row if its assigned Delivery Method has Pick-up at Warehouse enabled.
- What Changed: Previously, the system categorized any lead as a "Pickup" if Charge Distance Charges? was disabled. This is no longer the case; the new warehouse setting is now the sole requirement.
- Troubleshooting: If your Pickup row is empty or you see an info tooltip on the planner, it means none of your currently used Delivery Methods have the Pick-up at Warehouse setting turned on.
Note: For "Will Call" leads or other methods where you do not want the event to clutter the Delivery Planner, ensure Pick-up at Warehouse is set to No.
