Applying to be a Third-Party Access Partner

Overview

Becoming a Third-Party Access (3PA) Partner allows external entities to offer specialized services to InflatableOffice Users (account owners) through a secure, administrative-vetted framework that eliminates the risks of shared credentials.

Background

Third Party Access is designed for IO users who do not have a white label (add link to White Label request KB) but want to grant a third party (e.g., a consultant, marketing agency, support provider, IO user, or business partner) limited access to manage or assist with their IO account. It provides a unified, secure, and auditable way for external entities to access IO accounts on behalf of those users. The account owner controls who gets access and what they can do; while IO remains the gatekeeper for who is eligible to be listed as a Third Party.

How to Apply

  1. Account Registration: If you do not have an InflatableOffice account, register for a free account here (Sign Up).
  2. Submit Application: Log in and navigate to the Settings > Partners page. Select the option to apply to be listed as a "Third Party" partner type, filling in required fields.
  3. Multi Factor Authentication (MFA): The required fields (email/mobile) will be used for MFA when logging into user accounts.
    1. Note: The login and its MFA (email/mobile) belong to the third party (you), not the account owner. The owner cannot change them — the owner only sets the password.
  4. Vetting Process: Once you submit your application, our IO team will review your request.
  5. Approval:
    1. Upon approval, your business will be listed in our system. You will receive notification, and IO customers will be able to select your company when they are ready to grant access.
    2. You will need to let the account owner know you have been approved by IO Admin. The account owner can then follow steps to grant you access and create a worker named “{Company} Support.” (link to Granting Access KB article).
    3. You will be emailed when access is granted by the account owner and again when the owner approves the worker and assigns permissions.

Accessing the User’s Account

  1. Log in and navigate to the Settings > Partners page.
  2. Click on your Third-Party Access type and navigate to the “Accounts” section to see a list of the user accounts you have access to.
  3. Click the “Login” link next to the account to get access.
    1. Note: User accounts that have not enabled the required permission will instead show a “How to enable access” link that will take you to the appropriate Knowledge Base Article.

Summary: Third Party Access creates a user-initiated, centralized, auditable system where account owners can leverage external expertise safely without compromising account integrity or violating licensing terms:

  • Any third party can formally request to be listed
  • IO Administration vets and approves who is eligible
  • The account owner explicitly grants access and controls permissions
  • 3PA workers are clearly identifiable and filterable
