Alert emails are being duplicated

This is more of a minor annoyance than a problem...

When a sales rep cancels a lead, autosave kicks in and sends an alert. If the sales rep makes another change, or hits save before closing the lead, the alert is sent again.

Do I need to stop using alerts and instead create automations to take their place?

I've been slowly replacing alerts with automations. Gives me more control of what info I want in the alert. Haven't had any huge issues yet but I could see where there might be.

Still happening. I have a fake lead I'm using for testing, 13141419. I canceled it, let it autosave, then hit save. It sent duplicate emails.

Developer has said to refresh your browser since the change was made, or it won't behave differently until then.

Browser refresh didn't work. I had to log out and log back in. All good now. Thanks!
