Setting up a Christmas Special

I had event Hawk set up a Christmas special pop up. I dont know how to set up the special so that the customer sees the special pricing when checking out. I also have black out dates set up. How do I set up the ability to book for a Christmas Eve morning only through noon but we are blacked out the rest of the time. The special is "book on Christmas Eve morning before noon and we will pick up on Monday 12/26 for the cost of a 1 day rental."

You can use filters to create promos/fees and item pricing. You have to have autosave turned on in the general preferences. If you do. You can create a filter that matches what you want in order to give the discount. However...the price won't show till they get the quote. It WILL work for the pop-up offer though.

I was trying to do that but I couldn't figure it out.  Can I schedule a time to have someone walk me through that? I adjusted the blackout date for Christmas day only when I really need to show that we are not working past noon on Christmas Eve.

You won't be able to show the noon on Christmas Eve. Well, you could set it the week of by day of the week but then you'll have to turn it back on when it passes.


I don't work with IO. Just another user. But I'd be happy to help walk you through conditional pricing tomorrow. In the mean time Tim just did a write up on it. Look it up in the help section.
