This can all be done from Settings--->Inventory
When you choose the item you would like to transfer, you can add and remove from quote pages of each location:

Thank you , but it is not what i meant.
I am talking about a planned transfer of an item from location to another for a specific contract. And then, the return of that item.

The only way to keep track of where the item is would be by creating an optional field. You can set an optional field for the rental for the locations. Please let us know if you need assistance.
