Customer Web Uploads

I want to create a private webpage (part of throneranger.com) where customers can upload files for their events. Throne Ranger rents luxury mobile restrooms and we have TVs that we can show slideshows or movies and I need a location where a customer can upload their files to us. I would expect them to be below 5 GB. What's the best way to accomplish this?

Thanks

Hi Harry,

There is a way you can add a section on the checkout page where customers can add attachments. Here is an article that goes over adding this!

I was thinking about this some more and what I want to is send out an email or text confirming the event dates and the delivery and return windows and offer the lead the ability to up load files to their event.

Note there may be hundreds of photos or large video files.

Here is a sample text I have created

Hello *ctfullname*, we have your event scheduled for *fulleventtimetext*. We plan on delivering your Throne Ranger on *setupdatetext* and picking it up *tdowndatetext*. We will call you the day before delivery to update you with a 2 hour delivery window. Please make sure you have a level, dry, and solid location to park the trailer with a 13' vertical clearance, and 2-20 amp dedicated circuits and water hose with in 50 feet of the trailer

If you have any photos or videos you would like displayed on the TV's during your event you can load them here "UPLOAD Link"

If you have any questions you text us back or call 713-747-0505 ext. 1 anytime.

Notes

  1. I am using the variables setupdatetext and tdowndatetext because I couldn't find variables for delivery and return windows. Are there variables for the delivery and return window?
  2. What does the upload interface look like? How are the files stored and accessed?

What do try think about this solution? Is there a better way to accomplish this to allow leads to upload files after they have signed the contact and paid on the event?

There's only 2 ways. Either have them email them to IO with the appropriate lead id on the subject line or create that page I suggested below. That page will probably be the most friendly.

The problem I run into is most customers will not have the media ready to upload until right before the event so I don't think the checkout page is the best solution. I was thinking I could duplicate the Contact US page https://throneranger.com/contact-us/ and modify it for file uploads. What is your opinion?

You can create a lead update page that is mostly always live. There leads can add pics or files they want that will add to the attachments of their lead.

How do I do this? This is for the customer to upload movie files (<5gb) and pictures (could be >100) to display on our TV's.

Here are a couple of articles to get started.

I can't find the one about adding attachments. But it takes some html to add it to the form. How much do you know about html?
