When I send an email through IO, templated or otherwise, the email doesn’t show up in my Gmail “sent” box. Is there a tool/service I’m missing?

You need to set your email up in Email Preferences, if you have gmail you will need to grant gmail permission.

Completed the steps and granted Gmail permission.

However, emails are getting sent to the customers spam folder. I read through the knowledge base thread regarding this topic but I still don't understand how to fix the spam problem...

ok here is something to do to check your email deliverabiltiy

use mail-tester.com and it will give you a score and also show you where to gain improvments

its a HUGE help

Thanks Greg… score was 9/10. For whatever reason, the emails are getting through to people’s inbox now so that’s good. I recently (earlier today) set up the IO/Gmail connection so maybe it needed a couple hours to work itself out.
