Customer Survey and wanting it to post to Google

I have an email that goes out asking for a Google review with our review link, but the customer is thinking that since they did the survey, they already did that. Any ideas on how to change that so that we get the review on Google?
When I was with another company, a text went out with the link and I had great luck.

In the Settings--General Preferences under the reviews tab we allow you to connect to your google reviews.
