adding multiple columns to product categories

I want to add 2 columns in my product view for mobile and 5 columns in desktop view, what's the process for this?

also the product cards are way too large, taking up almost the whole screen. i need the process on fixing this as well please

I've added some custom CSS to make it two columns on mobile.
