Does it cost extra to add a 2nd phone number to my IO Phone system?

I already have the other phone number on a my personal carrier that I want to consolidate into my IO Phone plan/system. The process seems straightforward outlined in the documents, and says that it doesn't cost anything to add a number when setting up IO Phone, but I wanted to make sure that adding a 2nd number (or 3rd, 4th, etc) doesn't change the price either.

It does not cost extra to add a 2nd phone number to IO Phone. Your billing will remain the same.

If you are interested in porting your number to IO Phone, let us know. We will need the following information to begin the process:

In order to port your phone number, we need to gather some information about the number and account information for the carrier it belongs to.

  • What is the phone number(s) to be ported?
  • What is the billing address for this phone number?
  • Also, is this the primary number on the account for this carrier? (For instance, if this is a cell phone line on a family plan, this line or another line could be the primary Billing Telephone Number) If this number isn't the primary Billing Telephone number, what is the Billing Telephone number? If it is the primary Billing Telephone Number, and there are other lines on the current carrier that you intend to keep, what phone number would you like to become the new Billing Telephone Number?
  • Is this a business account? If so, what's the business name listed on the account?
  • Is there an account number (other than the phone number) listed on your bill?

Finally, you may need to let your current phone provider know you wish to port the number away so they can unlock it and/or provide you with a PIN (which we will need). Every provider is different, so you'll need to check.

Thanks!
