Serial number showing on lead

Do people want the item serial number showing up on leads, or is this a mistake? If it is intentional, can I get it removed on my account? It just adds unnecessary clutter.

No, I want to add serial numbers to all of my items, I just don't want them to show up on the lead. That seems completely unnecessary.

The serial number is just for you to see..the customer won't see it

You cannot remove it from the lead unless you are going to remove it from the inventory item itself
