Auto email - will checking the active box cause mass emails to send for all previous events

I've set up my customer Thank you email which is an auto e-mail. It's set up to auto send 1 day after the customer's event. I'd like to launch it, but I'm afraid to click on the "active" box because when hovering over the active box, it says "making a newsletter active will cause it to send". Does this mean it will send a mass email to all of my previous customers when I activate it? I'm hoping to only send 1 day after all future events, obviously.

Hello,

This is just an alert to advise how the active box will affect newsletters, manual emails, as well as emails attached to automations.

Since this is an automatic email (none of the above) you are fine to click active as it will only send to the leads that apply (24 hours after the event has been completed.) It will not send a bulk email to all existing leads.
