Why are the signatures on the contract showing up as an IP address and a date and not a signature? The printed name is showing, just not the signature of the person.

so if there is only a stray dot the system puts in an IP address in place of a signature?
Should I clear it and have them resign? Is there a way to prevent this from happening again as I've had 2 customers like this so far.
