Workers- Office Assistant

Is there any way to schedule a worker(office assistant) that only works in the office and does not work events. I was hoping there was a way to create a working schedule in IO to make it easier on my payroll. Thanks.
There is not yet a particular feature that allows for this, however we've noticed some of our users doing the follow unsupported method:
They create a "dummy" lead called "office hours" and then create shifts on the schedule tab of that lead for the hours they want the employee's to work in the office.
