Worker Txt messages

I would like to Automatically send worker messages based on statuses. It looks like I can send the customers txts but I want to be able to send worker's txts.
Like the event is marked postponed so the worker gets a text informing them of that.
Of being able to send a txt based on event start time rather than arrival ETC
This should be able to be done using Automations. Is that not working in this scenario?
