Why are the vendor items counting against our inventory count?

In the recent update it states "Vendor items do not count against your rental inventory limit" We were around 450 without the vendor items counting, now we are up over 500.

If you put a vendor item into a category, it will count toward your subscription limit. If you don't, it will be searchable to add to a lead as an admin still in the future, but will not count toward your subscription limit and it will not display on your customer quote form.

It's likely in the future that we'll add the ability to share vendor items between Inflatable Office accounts, and if your vendor uses IO and has that product in their inventory, it will be able to be listed in yours but not counted.

Last week was different.

This was just an incomplete statement on all of what vendor items do. After this document was written, we added more functionality to vendor items that also allowed them to be categorized and listed to the customer; but if that is the case, they do count toward your subscription limit.

That stinks! I wen't through our items and reactivated many. I guess I will go through it all again and waste more time :( Not Happy!

We could help. Would you like us to dissociate the category with all your vendor items for you so that none of them are counted? You'll still be able to look them up by searching for them, they just won't be listed in any category.
