Where is Recovery Time? How about a "Preparation Time"?
Answered
Hi,
I can't find the section to add a "recovery time" to a rental item.
So for example If a popcorn machine takes 1 hour to clean after a rental. I would need at least and that much time before it goes out again.
I wont be able to take it from one party to the next without first taking it to the warehouse and cleaning it for the next rental.
Also, I would like to know if it was possible for the same exact recovery time can added BEFORE the rental goes out. Like a "preparation time"
So for example if a popcorn machine is going out on Sunday I rather not have it rented out on Saturday due to the cleaning in the middle.
So I would set a day or 2 before the rental date for it to NOT be available.

Recovery time is set in the "advanced features" panel of the rental item's settings.
Recovery time should be covering the prep time feature you mentioned probably. I'll look into changing that if it's not.

Any update?
Prep time is not on the advanced features.
when someone orders lets say a popcorn machine. I don't want anyone to be able to order is 12 hours before the beggining of rental time as well as 12 hours after the ending of the rental time.

It's on our list of items to do, but there is not a scheduled completion date. In the meantime, I think using recovery time should work for you by doubling the recovery time. So if you want 12hours after and 12 hours before, enter 24 hours into the recovery time.
