view of calendar from new view

I cannot figure out how to scroll down on the screen when I click on the calendar select option on the bottom left. The calendar pops up but I can only see the first two weeks of a month and cannot see the bottom part of the calendar and cannot figure out how to scroll down. I see the scroll down on the far right but that does not work the calendar. thanks
