Can you have more than one vendor for an inventory item? I know how to add vendors and use the po, contract and other features but i am looking for a way to add multiple vendors for the same item... i swear i seen it somewhere but cant find it

You can do it by adding it from a lead as if the original vendor isn't already in there, or by doing a "Save Copy" of a piece of existing vendor inventory. When you have more than one vendor for equipment that has the same name, it lists it as an option on the lead as "muti vendor." When you chose that option, the automatic quote goes to all the vendors so you can price check them all.
