Updating Client Information
When we do a save a copy step from one order to another and want to change the client name contact info etc and then click save again it works fine and so does updating client information...
The one issue i have found is if i go into a lead to start a new lead and use an existing customer and change the contact info there for the person numbers email addresses etc it will work but it will overwrite the existing info unless i check the box to create a new client contact etc.
Is there a way to add a failsafe pop up to ask are you sure like we have in other places about deleting, change statuses etc.
I ask this because today we put in a new order for a client from 4 years ago and forgot to check the new client box and lost the old info.
i was thinking about some message and an ok box to accept the changes etc.
This would be helpful anytime we make changes to a client record so say do you want to update or create new client something like that...
i think it would save alot of heartache in the end for making updates to clients when you really wanted to create a new one
We are considering this, but in the meantime, I figured I would meantion that changes to the client are listed in the Log tab of the customer profile in case you need to roll back changes.

i was able to find that info and rebuild the client record how ever we did loose the phone numbers for that particular person
