Unable to edit cost on item

We have found that when we create a new order and add an item for pick up fee and try to adjust it to match the delivery fee we are unable to edit it until we save the order and open it back up and then we can edit


so..

Create new lead

add a rental item

then add office charge

then choose pick up fee and it is greyed out.


you can now save and edit and it works


this works on every new order we enter

That's true. You can also hit the "update" button and the items on the right hand side will become available if enough information has been supplied to calculate everything appropriately. Some information needs to hit our server before we can calculate it (eg: we can calculate the distance charges until we know the address). We don't allow you to customize it, until we've calculated it, because it gets tricky trying to decide if you want the software to look it up and recalculate it or not, and it may throw of tax or discount calculations if you've entered a manual number before we've set some other field by way of calcuating them.
