Timeline from Saving in IO to Showing in QB Que

I was reading in the Document section the system updates every 5 hours. I wanted to find out what that meant. Does that mean everytime I save in IO, it will take 5 hours before it shows up in the QB Queue? Then from there, depending on the Web Connector auto run time, that's how often it pulls information into QB and those results will show in the QB Log, right?

Thanks

It's runs every 5 minutes. So the Web Connector should be set no lower than 5 minutes. The maximum time it will take to transfer over a new invoice or payment from IO to QB is the two times added together.

Thanks. I noticed that it isn't showing up in the queue that frequently. I did a change a couple hours ago and it just now showed up in the Queue. It didn't take 5 hours but it didn't take 10 minutes to go into QB either.

The queue depends on a number of things. First, if you have things in your queue, nothing new will queue until you run the web connector and clear it. After you clear your queue, the longest time for something to be queued is 5 minutes.

Also, the web connector cannot be run closer than 2 minutes apart or it will tell you there is nothing to do regardless of whether there are queued jobs or not.
