Tax Rates shown on contracts are deceptive

If some items are taxable and others are not, the system calculates an overall tax rate which is very confusing...we've had several customers question why they're being taxed 2.18% for example when their county rate is 8%.


Perhaps there's a better way to illustrate this. Maybe a small logo/text next to exempt line items, & just show the actual tax rate and they can more easily figure it out. Not sure really how to implement, but showing a tax rate of 2.18% is not accurate as each item is calculated separately. Just a thought

This is something we plan to do a better job with. I recommend hard coding your tax rate in templates to customers or leaving the rate out and just showing the tax until then.
