System not calculated delivery fee correctly

We use mapquest to calculate the distance. It looks like it had trouble with the destination address. If this happens regularly on different addresses let me know, otherwise I'd say it's just this particular address that it just couldn't find.

I now have a problem with the system adding a fee for a delivery less which shouldn't, quote # 967453 .

how can I rectify this please?

In settings -> distance charges you have:

0,$ 0

10,$ 5

15,$ 10

20,$ 12.5

25,$ 15

This would be read by the system as:

Up to 0 miles, charge $0 (The first line here would do nothing.)

Greater than 0, but up to 10 miles, charge $5 (this is where the lead you mentioned falls)

Greater than 10 and up to 15 miles, charge $10

ect....

9 - 0

14 - 5

19 - 10

24 - 15

29 - 20

these figures show that up to 9 mile 0 charge, between 10 & 14 - $5 charge etc etc....??

10 - $0

15 - $5

ect...

would probably be better. It would be free up to 10 miles. 10.1 miles would fall into the $5 bracket

Hello again, i have again found an issue with the distance charges...

distance via google maps 23.9 miles, this should be a £15 charge, it hasn't added the charge to the quote...

We use MapQuest for distance calculations. If you check the address in MapQuest, it can't find it. Is there another way to enter it such that MapQuest will find it? I'm not familiar with UK addresses.
