Sort Order

When you do a keyword search and you start to type in the text is there a way to make the list sort? I see it sorts mostly correct but as I was looking for a clients name today i noticed that it seems to sort older names first then newer entries with the matching text.

Example:

I was looking up a client named Jennifer Igo.

There was a ton of Jennifer's in there and some was in order by last name after Jennifer, but then to get to Igo i had to go past many names that should have been after IGO based on alphabetical order.

It seems to have a sort order issue

It would be difficult to sort this data given how we look it up, but applying the filter "cust: Jennifer" should be at the top, which would bring back a list of all leads with the name "Jennifer" as the customer. This list can be sorted, and more filters applied to narrow it down.

I got the search thing but I'm talking about is the order they appear in the search drop down box

they are not in alpha ..

see attached for the example

I understand. I can look deeper into it, but adding an alphabetical sort to this may significantly slow down the speed at which it returns the results. It may be possible to optimize this in a way I'm not currently considering though.

OK, Thanks..

It's just weird to have to look through all the Jennifer's to find the one you want since there is no order once you type in Jennfer..

Thanks for looking into it
