Soft Conflict

How do soft conflicts work? Is there a setting we can adjust to determine what shows as a soft conflict? For example: If an item goes out one day, and then it is going out again the next day, can I have that show a soft conflict so we know it needs to be inspected and cleaned immediately? Or is there another feature that will help us with this?

Soft conflicts don't have a lot of customization currently, but this is a good idea and I'm adding it to our product development system. We do have the option of changing how much time will trigger the soft conflict but we would have to do that on our end. If you're interested in changing that time let us know and we can do that for you.

Cool, let's try 36 hours. That way we get a flag on items that come back Friday morning and go back out by Saturday afternoon.

Do you have any control over which lead shows the conflict? We'd like it to show consistently on either the incoming (preferred) or outgoing lead, rather than the current way where it shows the most recently booked lead.

Is there a way to pull a report on these conflicts that only shows soft conflicts, and only shows the specific item with the conflict?

In your future development, and along the same lines, we'd also like a way to get a flag (or other notification) on specific items, a couple days before they go out. An example would be a rock wall - we want a reminder to charge the battery a couple days before the event. Maybe something like this is already possible using filters and auto emails, or something like that?

It looks like this is almost possible. I just need an email template that allows me to always send the auto email to a specific email address ( I don't think this exists). Other than that, I just need to set the field for how many days prior to the event, and select the leads filter to show all of my battery powered items.

We can't set up auto email's to go to one specific email address, but we have changed that soft conflict time in your account to 36 hours. If you have any other questions or concerns let us know.
