Setup and Delivery charges disappaer

when renting out mechanical bull if I do not indicate staffing the rental cost includes the setup and delivery charge of $80, but when I add staffing as an option (it actually is a requirement for this piece) the staffing charge appears but the quote is then missing the setup and delivery additional cost. I want them both to appear always. What have I done to make them apparently mutually exclusive?

When an item requires staffing no matter what, it is recommended that you configure the item as follows:

1. Go to Settings and edit the rental item

2. Set the Required staff to the correct number

3. Set the Required volunteers to 0 (this forces it to always charge for that item's staffing regardless of the delivery method)

4. Include the staff cost in with the price of the rental

5. Settings->General Settings->Auto Calc Staff must be off

This will make it so that regardless of the delivery type that item will always charge for staff (via the rental items price) and will not charge for staffing this item in the staffing line.

I am still trying to find the best way to accomplish this and have some concerns about doing it the way you describe.

First, if we are forced to change the volunteers to zero to get the required staff, that eliminates it seems those occasions when we need to send one staff to work with two or three volunteers.

Also, We have recently gone to invoicing that shows the customer the separate charge that we pay our crew to setup and take down the attraction. By including this in the rental, it eliminates the transparency of that policy. (although there may be some beneficial tax consequences I haven't thought of).

Can you give us a lead ID where this has happened? Are you saying they are not both showing on the quote or the contract? They should not be mutually exclusive. Also, when you say that you are adding staffing as an option, what do you mean? I don't see an option for staffing on the Mechanical Bull. Are you filling in the staff cost, changing the delivery type to Fully Staffed, or adding a rental called staffing?
