Most of our inventory are rental items, but we do have a couple of smaller items that we simply sell at retail. Is there a way to integrate these items into the inventory?

Yes, but we don't currently track "inventory stock" quantity in any fashion. You would just put their quanity in as "unlimited" so that the system doesn't conflict check them.

Is there a way to enter these items so that they aren't considered "rentals"? We implement a Damage Waiver on all rental items, but we wouldn't want these retail items to be subject to that fee.

Yes. You just needed to modify the Fee that you were using a bit. I've done this for you. Just uncheck the items on the right side that are not "rentals" so that the fee won't be applied to them.
