refund

When issuing a refund the tax that was calculated on the original amount will show as a credit on the account balance.

How should that be handled to eliminate the tax. Should the refunded amount include the tax?

If so, that changes the balance again. (3947583)

Yes, if you are only going to refund $100 then that actually means you are refunding $95.70 and $5.30 in tax. Because when you made the changes on the lead it lowered the taxes by $5.30. I think to make it clearer for you and your accountant..you may want to refund $100+tax. You may want to ask the accountant how they want you to handle this for easier reporting.
