When using this variable does it pull up the newest payment, or is it hard coded to the payment that was made when the email was sent to the client?

That URL will send them a live reciept of all payments on that Lead.

OK .. so this link shows a total of payments not each payment correct?

If a customer calls in and needs a receipt for a payment a month ago is there a way to resend just that payment made.

This comes up when a client is trying to do their expense report or to reconcile their credit card.

This occurs more with a corporate client.

Sorry, I wasn't completely clear on this before. The *receipt_url* will send them to the most recent payment as of the time that url was made. So if it's from the contract page, that will send them to the last payment they made. If the link is in an email that was sent just after the first payment was made, (and then sometime after that a new payment was made), that link in the email will send them to the original transaction, because it was made before the last payment existed. But the receipt will still include a total of all of the payments. If you need to send the customer a specific transaction receipt, you can click here and copy/paste the URL24ebb4edd336010a2eeb3083cddd74b9
