QuickBooks Connector: ReceiveResponseXML Failed
Answered
I've tried fixing this using some of the instructions in the forum, but I'm still having trouble.
I've been getting the error listed below. I've tried deleting the invoices in QB, changing something in the IO lead (changing status), and then running WebConnector again. The invoices will download to QB, but not the payments. I'll run WC again and no luck. Sometimes, I'll get an "invoice was deleted" error.
What am I missing?
ERROR
Version:
PHP QuickBooks SOAP Server v2.0 at /qbint/io_qbserver.php
Message:
ReceiveResponseXML failed
Description:
QBWC1042: ReceiveResponseXML failed
Error message: Response is not well-formed XML. See QWCLog for more details. Remember to turn logging on.
Sometimes the web connector has to run several times while waiting at least 2 minutes between runs in order to get the payments in. It's best to set the auto-run to 10 minutes and just let it go.
Do you have an example lead or two that isn't downloading corrrectly?

I will try changing auto-run to 10 min.
Here are the ones that aren't downloading:
847105
799968
801538
763839
Thanks!

I only checked the top lead and I see that it added the invoice, but is failing to add the payment because it says the invoice doesn't exist. Did you delete it from QB? To have it re-done you'll need to edit the lead in IO by changing the status to something else, then back again. Then wait an hour and check QB again.

Here was the process I used to try to fix the issue:
Everytime WC runs, I get the ReceiveResponseXML failed error.

Okay thanks for the details. I will try to force lead 847105 to re-send as a new invoice to see if that solves it.

I'm still having trouble with this. I keep getting ReceiveResponseXML failed. The invoices are downloading fine though. Any update?

There are some invoices and payments that are failing, but I don't know why. At this point I would suggest manually checking/fixing them in QB. I'll make the system stop trying to put these in.
