quick add item not holding price

I'm trying to add 200 chairs at 1.50 each and when I hit save the price goes back to 0.00.
Is there something I'm doing wrong? Should I add 1 at 1.50 then update, then change quantaty to 200 then update again?

i think i figured it out. i added 1 item at the price, updated. Then changed the quantity, then updated.

If this worked, this is because the item is priced correctly in your settings. If the line item $ is blank, we check the settings of the rental and multiply it by the quantity when you update/save. With each line item, the $ field is intended to be the total amount for that line, not a unit price.
