When you use the quick add line it always places that quick add item at the 2nd line item on the order.
Is there a way it could be the last item in the list, or is there a reason you have chosen position 2?

There's not a reason really. I just wasn't intentionally coded to have any possition. It's position can be changed by drag/drop though.
