Quantity - Parent/Child Items

We created a child item from a parent and the quantity for both seems to have gone to "0" and won't let us now update it.

Could you take a look at the structure to see if it's correct as the help page seems to have been updated and differs from the video.

ID#891775 is the parent made up of 6 blocks: A, B, C, D, E & FID#998321 is the child made up of 4 of the above blocks only: A, B, D & F

The problem is you would have to have an item set up as each structure letter...so if an item has structures of A, B, C, D, E, & F....what are those pieces that make up A, B, etc? The system shows there not a B for instance, and so the quantity is set at 0...because you don't have the structures to make up that item. If you let me know what each item is made up of...I can help you with this.

Hi Susan. The parent or "whole obstacle" is as indicated and the first ID number.

It's made up of 6 blocks that have been labelled A,B,C,D,E and F.

The child item underneath it, is made up of 4 of those blocks, A,B,D and F. So I'm not really understanding why it's not working.

We've built it in the same manner as the other 3 sets of obstacles?

If you could help, that would be great.

I would need to know on this obstacle course...what = A? What = B? etc. What each part is listed as.

I now see what you're saying but each one of the blocks isn't used individually in this case. We don't actually want the other blocks (that can't be used individually) to show anywhere.

We're just shortening the original block from 6 pieces to 4 pieces and need the inventory count to not double up

You could shorten the 2 items to A,B and add C ...if C isn't able to be rented on it's own...you can add it as a hidden item.
