Projected Sales - more realistic?

I've just started using Inflatable Office this season. I've entered data for the past 3 years to see the growth/improvement.

What I was wondering is the Projected Sales numbers assumes 12 months of sales, even thought 3 years of history shows little to no sales in 4-5 months - Nov - March (season outdoor business in New England). So, the Projected Sales number is way over projected. Is there a way to have the system look at previous years data and make the assumption from there? Or a way to set the Projected Sales as a "Seasonal" business with the option to set the season?

I understand this is a system that goes out to a large country that has many areas that are year round with outdoor rentals. I like the system, but I would just like this to be a little more realistic.

I think the reason why the stats are wrong is because of the book date that is entered on the past years data. For example, your Catch up data 2013-2015 lead on 4/15/2015 has a book date of 4/4/2016 when it should be the same as the event date in this case. Normally book date is when you send the contract, the date the customer says yes to the quote. Book date is on the lead's contract tab. For entering past data like you are, you should use the same date as the event date for the book date. Thanks.

Hi again. I just updated all the leads to make the book date the same date as the lead date. worked on most, but for Sept, Oct and Nov for 2013, '14 & "15, plus August of 2015. It's odd....

Can you look at it and see if there is something else holding these up?

It is working correctly now. If you look at your August 2015 lead for your sales, the date and book date are both 8/19. So in a YTD view, this did not occur yet since it is 8/16. The same goes for the other months. Your projected sales will still likely show higher than it should since you don't have real dates for book dates of all your previous events. However, it will be much closer now. Next year, it will be very accurate.
