Performers

I offer face painting, balloon artist and characters. Right now if the customer chooses face painting it tries to bill them for the whole length of the event if they have an inflatable. IE Inflatable is 165 for 4 hours then it will go in an do face painting at 75 for 4 hours or 300 as well. I want it to only show for 1 hour or can they choose how many hours of face painting and it bill accordingly?

Thanks

It looks like you've already figured this out, but to confirm:

Edit the rental item "face painting" and under the quantity, click "advanced quantity options" and chose the option to "Always use advanced times." This will change it so the customer doesn't enter a quantity any more but they enter a smaller time window for the performer. On the back end, when creating a lead, it shows you quantity, but if you want to use a smaller time window for any rental, on the back end, you can always click "Advanced Times" under the normal Event Times. On a new lead, this will calculate the right price. If you're editing a lead, it won't change the price of that line item unless you blank out the price for it or check the "recalculate" toggle.

Ok do I have to change any of my pricing because there was a lead today that charged them for whole event it seems. Unless the customer didn't choose the specific times.

Ok So it looks correct. If the customer chooses the right hours for face painting it will do the correct price.

thanks
