Paypal Credit transactions not working

I have had several customers contact me about using there card. I get some saying it can Verify card and others saying it can use the card for processing. I called paypal and they said it was the customer card. I called the customer they called paypal and they say nothing is wrong with it. Some of my transactions work others do not. Can anyone shed light on this.

The entire transaction is happening on PayPal's website after the customer clicks to pay via it. The only thing we pass over is


  1. The amount they are to pay
  2. Who is the recipient (your PayPal account email address)

If the customer was reporting that the amount was wrong, there could be an issue on our end; but they're not reporting that.

If your email address was wrong, every transaction would be going to the wrong account.


It sounds as if the customer might be typing in the wrong card number (perhaps there is a [space] in the number at the beginning or end). Regardless, the issue is happening on PayPals website, not inside IO.
