Overbooking

I have had a couple of items overbooked. Why is it overbooking? Is there something I need to change in the settings?

I'm not seeing any in your account. Do you have a lead ID I can look up? I'm guessing these may have just been quotes. Depending on your settings, we'll allow a customer to initially get a quote even if the item is booked already, so that you can see the lead and potentially follow up with the customer and book something else with them. It wouldn't let them get a contracted event though.

You do not have your status settings correct. Leads in Contracted status are not set to reserve. Leads do not move from Contracted to Confirmed (where they are reserved) unless both the contract is signed and the deposit is paid according to your settings. There are a couple ways to fix your status settings so that this doesn't happen again. We will need to discuss your intent to choose the correct way to set it up. Please contact us Monday. Thanks.

Can we make it so as long as the deposit is paid it is confirmed?

Under Settings--> Statuses go to edit your "confirmed" status. Here you can unclick the requirement to have contract signed for this status
