Going by event times only creates too many gaps in the route and worse, does not optimize enough based on drive time. I believe this could be fixed if it were to factor a window of time (say work day start time - event start time). Would really love to see this feature so that I could use the auto load option! Trying to schedule 40 or more deliveries in a summer weekend with 3 trucks is rather tedious.

optimize auto route by utiziling delivery window rather than event start time
Answered
It seems that the auto-routing algorithim focuses very heavily on getting a unit to an event at exactly on time.
Is there a way that would make it so that it focuses more on a dense route with as few as possible trucks, not worrying about the exact start time, but rather just treating say a 1 PM event as a "anytime before 1" appointment along with no "gaps" in the scheduling of the trucks? That lack of function (of my own lack in understanding how to make that happen) has kept me from being able to make this feature work for my company.
This is a good idea. I have it in for our development team to discuss.

Any update to this?
Excited about the possibility since march-nov it takes a whole day to do what this program could do in a minute.

We have it on our list to do. We aren't working in that area currently, but when we do, we will most likely tackle this for you. Thanks!

This would also be great. I manually move the deliver blocks around as needed.
