Open Edge Credit Card Swiping

I see that Open Edge supports credit card swiping via a phone for field type situations.
Is there anything on the roadmap for similar functionality for a store front? I would switch to Open Edge and close our Auth.net gateway account if we could use a credit card reader on a desktop computer.

It is not currently planned, so if it does get implemented it will likely not happen during 2018. A phone or tablet could still be used to checkout at the counter.

Also, you can get a counter machine from openedge to run cards, but it won't be integrated with InflatableOffice, which just means you'd have to manually enter the order on the lead after the card gets run.
