Online Quote Screen

On the online quite screen the client uses as they fill in their information and choose their items one issue I have found is that when the client wants to enter they event location they are forced to un check the event address box to get those fields to show up.

Is there a way to make the box to be unchecked by default instead of checked

I think having the fields shiw would be easier for the client a d if they are they same location as the address then they can click the box.

Not showing the fields I feel would create the client to skip over that address information and could create an issue in the quote with delivery charges

We updated the default quote page template to work a little nicer recently. If you haven't made any customization to the quote form then you can override it with the default as follows, or create a new quote request page (with a unique group name).

1. Edit the Quote Request Form

2. Click 'Load in default template' on the right

3. Mark active, and verify the group name and wrapper are correct

4. Save

I am using the newest template, but my question is more tailored to the event location check box.

by default it doesn't show the event location address info it is collapsed . The question is can it be unchecked by default then if the client wants to use the same customer address at the event location allow the client to check the box, then the event location address boxes will not be "missing" be default.

also in addition to asking the client for event address etc, there needs to be a box for event location.

With only getting the address users will have to reverse search the address to find the venue name etc.

We have alot of events at parks, churches, hotels etc.

Just having them put in the address is great, but that doesn't really give us enough information.

There needs to be Venue name and venue location (within the venue, ie ball room, shelter xyz, etc.)

Can those fields be added to the online quote?

The form was changed to what you see to reduce the amount of fields the customer has to complete. However, per your request, I've changed it for you.
