maintenance question

It seems that in order to get an item not to show up red once it's been "checked in", you need to remove it from the history and then delete and then reenter the item in the lead.

Are we doing something wrong because then we are not left with the history and it's a lot of extra steps to delete and reenter items onto invoices - especially after the event has passed.

Please advise.

There was a bug on the page that if you added the item and then deleted it, the system would re-add it. I have fixed this.

You shouldn't have to delete the item from the history part to make it available again. I think it was the bug I mentioned that caused this.

hi,

We were testing this feature again and we were having a couple of issues.

First, when an item is put into maintenance it is extremely slow to show up in red on the lead that is is causing a conflict for. We then realized that once you go in and edit and save the lead it will cause it turn red. The problem with this is that if an item goes into maintenance from the warehouse manager, but the sales manager doesn't know about it or what particular lead has that item, it isn't turning red (either at all - or in a timely manner.)

The second issue is that once an item has been returned, it seems that you need to delete the item from Items Currently Out

otherwise it doesn't recognize that it has actually been returned.

thanks

Because of the size of inventory you have it may take a minute or two for it to update the events to show a conflict after being entered into maintenance.

Yes you have to remove the item from the Currently Out section to check it back in.

Instead of checking everything out before the event and checking it all in after the event, I would recommend only checking items out after the event that are not returned.
