Item Availability

Good morning IO support! I was just wondering about how inventory and booking work with IO (since I"m really still new to it). What exactly does "unlimited quantity" mean (see pic). Also would like to understand "input type" and "increment#" . Basically, I want to configure my settings to ensure that whenever an item (usually an inflatable) in my inventory is booked on day "X", that it will still show and display as available for booking on any other day besides day "X". I think this is already how IO works, I just want to make sure that another customer (or even the same customer) can book the same unit, like, the next day or the day before, if they wanted. Thanks.

Unlimited Quantity would mean and item would never be overbooked, this is helpful for concession servings. Increment is setting how many items go out in a quantity one 1. As an example if you rent putt putt holes and renting 1 putt putt gets you 2 putt putt holes then you can increment them by 2 so if someone rents 1 putt putt, the system recognizes they got 2 holes. The system by default will book an item when the contract is generated and this item will be unavailable for the length of the event duration but customers can still rent the item for times outside of that event duration. Let me know if you have any other questions!
